At For Every Body we use renewable, biodegradable soy wax, which is cleaner-burning than paraffin wax and burns at a slower rate than beeswax. Our candles contain double the scent of most in the industry and, of course, we always use lead-free wicks and the finest essential oils. We have highly-scented wax with fragrance oil distributed evenly throughout the candle. The unique blend of clean burning wax, our signature decorative toppings, and our fabulous true-to-life fragrances set For Every Body candles apart from everyone else.
We take pride in knowing our products are of the finest quality, sold at a fair price. We want you to enjoy and be satisfied with our candles. To maintain the highest quality, it is important to burn our candles correctly. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure the best results:
- Trim the wick before lighting each candle to about 1/4 inch in length.
- Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch each time the candle is relit to reduce possibility of smoking or sooting.
- Do not burn in a draft or near a vent.
- Remove all candle toppings, wick trimmings, matches or anything else from wax pool before lighting.
- Keep the wick centered. Do not burn the candle if the wick is not centered.
- Do not allow the flame to touch the side of the jar.
- If flame smokes, extinguish and trim wick before relighting.
- Do not pick up or touch during or shortly after burning.
- Never burn a candle on or near anything flammable.
- Do not burn the candle more than 2-3 hours at a time.
- Place the candle on a flat, dry, fire- and heat-resistant surface, away from any drafts or flammable materials.
- Keep burning candle within sight at all times. Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Discontinue the use of candle when 1/4 inch of wax remains to prevent possible heat damage to the counter/surface or cracking or breaking of the jar.
- Only burn in a suitable holder, on a plate or other fire and heat resistant surfaces.
- Handle with care because glass containers are fragile.
- Avoid glass-to-glass contact when removing or replacing the lid.
- Do not use candle if the jar is cracked, chipped or scratched.
- Do not refill containers with wax.
- If smoking occurs, blow candle out. Trim wick(s), remove trimmings, and relight.
- If smoking continues, check for drafts or high traffic areas, which may cause flame to flicker and smoke.
- Extinguish carefully before replacing the lid.
- Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
- Remove any non-wax toppings and any other foreign matter.
- Toppings are not edible.
